Updates & Changes

First. The movie night at Grove was great! Thanks to those who were there. I think everyone enjoyed Van Helsing and Cloverfield.

Second. There has been a change in the fall schedule. We are cancelling the Casino Night and instead will be helping with the Youth Night at the Chambersburg YMCA. It is on November 15th from 7 pm to 10 pm. The picture to the right will give you all the info you need.

Third. Our next "The Board" meeting is this Thursday at 6 pm at Coyle. Bring your ideas for the Youth Night and the t-shirt.

And the winning movies are ...

On October 13th, starting at 4 pm, we will be watching Van Helsing first and then Cloverfield will start at 6:30 pm. This will all be happening at the Grove Family Library. We will have pizza delivered between movies but it will cost $1 per slice. And don't worry we will have soda and popcorn too.

Bummer - No Gaming

Hey all - because I got no comments about gaming, we won't be doing it today. Doesn't mean we can't have gaming time in the future, I just need to know who wants to.

"The Board" will meet ...

To those teens who are a part of or want to be a part of the "The Board":

We will be meeting on October 9th at 6 pm at the Coyle Free Library. We would be meeting at Grove except that the room where we would have the meeting is already taken. We will be talking about the movie night and casino night during this meeting. Pizza and soda, as always, will be provided.

More about gaming

If we are to have a gaming time after school it will have to be at Coyle since the whole community room space at Grove is being used by the Friends Fall Fest. Just comment to let me know you are interested.

anyone up for some gaming?

I have been thinking it would be nice to have a gaming time after school next Friday the 19th. Just put your comments below if you are interested and what you would like to play.

Change in this fall's activity schedule

Due to the change in Harry Potter movie release date, "The Board" decided to move the Casino Night into November and plan an Ornament Creating Contest the beginning of December. So here are the dates. We will still hold the movie night on October 13th at 4 pm (make sure to vote on the right).

But I want to see Harry Potter!

I don't know if you heard the news yet but the next Harry Potter movie release date has been pushed back to the July 17th weekend. This will mean that the Let's Play Quidditch activity will also be moved to July. We will let everyone know soon what will be in its place.

To help us decide what activity to do in November, you can come to "The Board", a group of Franklin County teens who help plan activities for the area. We will be meeting on August 25th at 6 pm at the Coyle Free Library. And don't worry, there will be pizza and soda provided.
